2023 is looking very promising for Orphan Jon and his band The Abandoned. Starting with OJATA will be releasing new singles recorded live in studio at Red Cat Recording Co. in Peck, KS during the Winter of 2022. Some of these singles will be familiar to many long time fans of OJATA, but since Orphan Jon's debut album "Abandoned No More" had a very limited release only states side, he wanted to revisit some of the popular songs off that album, re-record them with the Wichita Abandoned's feel and then release them worldwide to the larger audience he's gained since the debut album was released in 2018. We're very excited to announce that OJATA will be going into the studio in late January 2021 to record Orphan Jon's second studio album. And we're even more honored and thrilled to announce that Alastair Greene of Whiskey Bayou Records will be the Producer. Alastair has teamed up with Jon English to co-write most of the songs on this project, as well as being the guitarist on the recording. So, there will be a few surprises for OJATA fans to enjoy! We are looking forward to sharing this album with you as soon as possible. Look for a 2023 release.
